TOBARI is a new trust connection infrastructure
Connecting with people via social media or messaging
has become easy.
We have social media. But have real encounters grown?
But the people you can truly trust, and encounters of real value,
remain hard to see.
The things that matter most stay the least visible.
TOBARI gives form to that unseen trust and network —
making it visible.
Yet none of it is recorded anywhere in society.
Who you're
connected to.
TOBARI — the trust connection infrastructure.
Who you can
introduce.
Who would you connect — and to whom?
Who
trusts you.
Not how many you know. That you can connect them.
What achievements and connections
you hold.
Your world is far larger than you think.
A place to keep all of that
as the value of your network.
Connection is only the beginning.
Someone introduces someone, and from there,
encounters and work are born.
This is the beginning of a civilization.
But until now, who made the connection —
and its value — rarely remained.
The encounter that changes your life still lies ahead.

What TOBARI Is
TOBARI is an invitation-only, business-to-business (B2B) networking and business-matching service operated by Terranoah Inc. Its purpose is to keep the connections you make on a "map of your network" and grow them into work, referrals, and collaboration. Its three main features are Direct Scout (DM) for messaging people you are connected with, a network map plus digital business card that turns encounters into a map via QR exchange, and Quests for posting requests backed by a bounty.
TOBARI is a business-to-business (B2B) service whose purpose is to connect people who run businesses for work, referrals, and collaboration. It is not a general social network, a dating/matchmaking app, or a business-card management app; it provides a place to build and grow business relationships. Because it is invitation-only, you need a valid invitation code to register for the first time.
These phrases express TOBARI's worldview, positioning it as "a hidden tavern for information brokers that turns real business into a 'Quest'" and as "trust-connection infrastructure that solves the gap where your reach is visible but your credibility is not." In the actual service, bounty-backed requests function as "Quests," and a measure of the depth of a connection functions as "trust (TRUST)." Note that the 3D "information broker's tavern" (/tavern) is a worldview production and is currently treated as coming soon (to be offered in stages). The operator is Terranoah Inc. (managing supervisor: Takashi Yasukawa; address: 95-1 Katsume, Yamatotakada, Nara 635-0042; contact: info@terranoah.io), and it publishes the disclosures required under Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
Pricing & Plans
The VIP membership is ¥9,900 per month, tax included. It renews automatically each month, but you can cancel anytime from Subscription Management (the Stripe Customer Portal) in your member page. After cancellation, billing stops from the next renewal date and you keep VIP features until the end of the current billing period (no prorated refunds).
The Guest (free) plan is invitation-based and stays free forever at ¥0/month. Even on VIP, there are no charges beyond the service usage fee (internet connection and communication costs are borne by you). Payment is by credit card only (processed by Stripe), and we do not store your credit card number or other payment details.
As pay-per-use options, the Spotlight Boost is ¥5,500 (tax incl.) per item (pinning a quest near the top for a set period), and Ad Placement starts at ¥33,000 (tax incl.) per month (varying by slot and duration; please contact us for the exact amount). A quest bounty is an amount the VIP poster sets and funds themselves, starting from a minimum of ¥10,000 (please check the posting screen or the latest published information for exact amounts and any fees).
Trust, Evaluations & Network Map
In TOBARI, trust (TRUST) measures the depth of a relationship, a separate axis from the number (breadth) of connections. So simply piling up connections will not raise it. It grows through proof of having actually met — meeting in person, teaming up on a quest, talking via DM — and through continued tending of the relationship afterward. Bonds you stop tending see their current-season score gradually decay, while the cumulative total you have built (the hall of fame) remains. Note that some trust-score features are being rolled out in stages.
The mutual evaluations (★1-5) you receive after quests or DM exchanges are anonymous by design, so you cannot tell who left a given rating. For an evaluation you feel is unfair, you can report it; after the operator reviews it and finds it problematic, it is hidden and excluded from the trust score (you can also check the history of your reports). Note that evaluations and transaction records are kept in an append-only system that cannot be tampered with, so there is no risk of them being rewritten later. Some specifics of evaluation handling may be provided in stages.
TOBARI visualizes connections on the network map (neuron), where a line's thickness and color represent the density of proof of an encounter (in person, quest, DM). Unlike an SNS follower count or a contacts list in a business-card app, what you see is the depth of trust itself. That said, it is not designed to let you freely peek into everyone's full network — visualization of the whole network and path analysis are VIP-only (free members get them only for the first 7 days after registration), and the visible scope differs by plan (please see the pricing plans for details). Sensitive items such as balances and roles cannot be rewritten directly even by the owner and are updated only through dedicated processing, reflecting our attention to safe data handling.
Getting Started & KYC
Login and sign-up for TOBARI are handled through the RQ account (RealityQUEST, implemented with Auth0), which is shared across all Terranoah services. A single RQ account lets you log in to TOBARI and the other Terranoah services. All you need to sign up is an email address and a password (no username required); the password must be at least 8 characters and include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers. Note that the password you enter is not stored by TOBARI, and you set your display name (in Japanese) afterward from /dashboard/profile.
Because TOBARI is fully invitation-only, a valid invite code (e.g., INV-XXXXXX) is required for first-time registration. You obtain an invite code through an invitation from someone already using TOBARI. If you proceed to onboarding via an invite link (?invite=CODE), the code is filled in automatically, so no manual entry is needed. If you are not using a link, enter the invite code on the onboarding screen. Note that one person may hold only one account; creating multiple accounts is prohibited.
Identity verification (KYC) is performed via Stripe Identity and is required when you submit a withdrawal request. Accepted documents are a driver's license, passport, or My Number Card (photo side only), and a selfie match with live capture is required. Please rest assured that your My Number (individual number) is not collected. The status can be one of four values—unverified, in review, verified, or rejected—and if it stays stuck on "in review," you can resume, sync the latest status, cancel, or restart the process.
How to Use Core Features
Direct Scout is a one-to-one, secure message you send directly to people you are connected with (also called a Whisper). Free (Guest) members can send up to 3 messages per month, while VIP members have unlimited sending. For quest-originated channels, confirming the meeting schedule and the post-completion mutual evaluation are also handled within this messaging exchange. Note that enforcement of some limits is being introduced in stages, so please check the public pages for the latest behavior.
Your digital card (Status Card) can be shared via QR or an invite URL, and scanning someone's QR lets you send a connection request or start a DM on the spot. QR exchange is unlimited for free members during the first 7 days after registration, then limited to 3 times per month, while VIP is unlimited. If you scanned but couldn't add the person, one possible reason is that, as a free member past the 7-day window, you have used up your monthly exchange allowance (3 per month). However, enforcement of some limits is being introduced in stages (and may not be active by default), so please refer to the guidance on the public pages for the actual behavior.
A quest is a 'connection request' that a VIP posts with a bounty attached — a request for an introduction, a business meeting, talent, or information. Free (Guest) members can also apply to quests, and when a contribution is completed they can receive performance-reward points (Time). After applying, confirming the meeting schedule and the post-completion mutual evaluation are handled within the quest-originated Direct Scout (DM) channel. Note that issuing a quest with a bounty is a VIP privilege (for details on the minimum bounty amount, issuing rights, and pricing, please see the pricing / VIP themes).
VIP vs Guest
With VIP, Direct Scout (DM), QR exchange, and invitations to your Trust circle all become unlimited, and you gain the ability to issue Quests (bounty-backed requests). You also get always-on full visualization and path analysis of your network map. On the free Guest plan, DMs are capped at 3 per month, QR exchange is unlimited for the first 7 days after registration and then 3 times per month, the Trust circle you can invite is limited to 6 people, full network-map visualization and path analysis are available only for the first 7 days, and Quest issuance is not available. Note that enforcement of some of these limits is being rolled out in stages, so please also check the pricing page for the latest wording.
Even on the free Guest plan you can browse the network, apply to Quests, receive Time (the performance-reward points), exchange digital business cards via QR, send DMs (up to 3 per month), and invite people to your Trust circle (up to 6 people). For the first 7 days after registration, full visualization and path analysis of your network map are temporarily unlocked, and QR exchange is unlimited. After those 7 days, full visualization and path analysis become VIP-only, and QR exchange switches to 3 times per month. To keep using full visualization and the unlimited features, a VIP membership is required.
Frame VIP's value around being able to grow both the breadth and depth of your connections without limits. For 9,900 yen per month (tax included), DMs, QR exchange, and Trust-circle invitations all become unlimited, and you gain the ability to issue Quests (requests to solicit introductions, business meetings, talent, or information, where the poster sets and funds a reward of at least 10,000 yen). On top of that, always-on full visualization and path analysis of the network map let you take a bird's-eye view of how your connections spread and how people relate to one another as you grow your business. Note that the company is not a party to transactions between users and does not guarantee their conclusion or outcome, so we recommend presenting VIP as payment for features rather than asserting guaranteed results.
Referrals, Invites & Rewards
Referral rewards are yen-denominated rewards that arise when someone you directly invited becomes a paid VIP member (a flat amount per person; it is single-tier, with no multi-tier system that sends income upstream through chained referrals). The rate depends on your own membership tier: ¥500 per person for a referral made while you are a free member, and ¥2,000 per person while you are a VIP member. In every case the reward arises only once the person you invited becomes a VIP. The minimum withdrawal amount is ¥3,000, payment is generally made at the end of the month following a month-end close, and it is paid subject to conditions such as identity verification (KYC) and registering a bank account. Separately from referral rewards, there is a performance-reward point called "Time" granted for quest completions and contributions, which free members can receive as well.
Time is a performance-reward point that we grant for outcomes and contributions such as quest completions and referrals, and free members can receive it too. Under certain conditions it may be withdrawable via RealityQUEST, but this is not an unconditional guarantee of conversion to cash, nor does it guarantee investment returns, dividends, yield, or principal, and it is not a prepaid balance. Identity verification (KYC) is required for withdrawals. While the minimum withdrawal for the yen-denominated referral reward is ¥3,000, figures not stated in our published documents — such as a minimum withdrawal amount for Time itself — cannot be stated here as fixed, and we will share details as they become available.
The trust circle (invitation allowance) is a slot for choosing and inviting people you want to value in your business, based on a quality-over-quantity philosophy. Free members can invite up to 6 people, VIP members have no limit, and those who joined through a VIP's invitation get a slightly larger allowance. As for rewards, there is no multi-tier system in which chaining referrals sends ongoing income up to you. Referral rewards are single-tier and arise only when someone you directly invited becomes a VIP. For the legal positioning, such as "isn't this a pyramid scheme," please refer to the trust and safety theme.
Safety & Privacy
TOBARI is a networking / business-matching service, and our terms set out that it does not constitute chain sales or an unlimited chain (pyramid) scheme. There are four reasons. (1) Referral rewards are single-tier: they arise only when someone you personally invited becomes a paid member, with no multi-level recruiting income that flows up to higher-level members through a chain of referrals. (2) You do not need to pay money to earn rewards, and even free members can receive rewards based on their results. (3) The paid membership fee (VIP membership at ¥9,900/month, tax included) is consideration for a service (its features), not the purchase of a right to participate. (4) The source of rewards is actual transactions and results, not a circular redistribution of money collected from members. Please note this is our own characterization and not a definitive legal determination.
Credit card details are processed by our payment provider Stripe, and we do not hold your card number or other payment details. Login authentication is delegated to RealityQUEST (Auth0), so the password you enter is not stored by TOBARI either. The main processors entrusted with personal data are: authentication = RealityQUEST/Auth0, database and storage = Supabase, payments = Stripe, hosting = Vercel, and withdrawal processing = RealityQUEST. Some of these may store data outside Japan; in those cases we still provide the necessary supervision so that our processors maintain appropriate security, and as security measures we apply encryption of communications, access control (row-level security), and physical isolation of confidential information.
Confidential fields such as your balance and role cannot be edited directly from the screen even by you; they are updated only through dedicated processing (SECURITY DEFINER RPCs). Transaction records are append-only and mutual evaluations are also recorded only via dedicated processing, so they are designed not to be tampered with after the fact. DMs are one-to-one messages with people you are connected to, and are covered by our security measures against unauthorized access and leakage (encryption of communications, access control, and physical isolation of confidential information). For operational details such as whether the operator can view message content, please refer to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. At the same time, TOBARI provides the 'venue' for connections and is not a party to the introductions, business discussions, or transactions between users. Accordingly, we do not guarantee the conclusion, content, performance, or results of any deal, and in principle any trouble that arises should be resolved between the parties involved.
Cancellation, Refunds & Deletion
Yes, you can cancel your VIP membership at any time. Please do so from "Subscription Management" (the Stripe Customer Portal) on your member page. After you cancel, billing stops from the next renewal date onward, and you can continue to use VIP features until the end of the current billing period. Note that VIP grants made by us or other contracts not processed through Stripe are not managed via the portal.
There is no prorated refund upon cancellation. Because this is a digital service, customer-initiated refunds after the service has started are generally not available. However, we will provide a refund if a system failure attributable to us prevented us from delivering the service, or where required by law. Note that this service qualifies as a mail-order transaction and is therefore not subject to cooling-off (unconditional cancellation).
Withdrawal is processed as a soft delete (anonymization): your name, image, bio, company name, email address, and login information are erased. However, your connections, DM history, and referral-reward chains are retained to preserve consistency for other users, and you appear to them as a "withdrawn user." Withdrawal cannot be undone and full recovery is not possible. You can re-register with the same email, but it is treated as a separate account and requires a new invitation code.
Availability, Comparisons & Support
The 'Informant's Tavern' (/tavern) is a proof-of-concept 3D presentation that expresses our worldview; its feature flag is OFF by default, so it normally shows a 'This gate remains closed' COMING SOON message and is not a generally released feature at this time. Certain trust-score presentations and limit enforcement (such as the DM/QR/trust-circle caps) are also designed for phased rollout, and we cannot promise a fixed release date, so please understand these as planned for sequential release. Meanwhile, pricing/cancellation/refund pages, DMs, the network map, the digital card and QR exchange, search, Quests, mutual evaluation, and notifications are already available.
Start from what TOBARI is: a B2B, fully invitation-only networking and business-matching service that records encounters on a 'map of connections' and grows them into work, referrals, and collaboration. Reach (the breadth of connections) is visible, but trustworthiness (the depth of a relationship) tends to be invisible; TOBARI addresses this by visualizing the 'density of proof' of an encounter (in-person, Quest, or DM) on the network map and adding an axis for cultivating trust, which differs from a business-card manager or an SNS. Furthermore, the 'Quest' mechanism, where a VIP sets a bounty (minimum 10,000 yen) to post referral, deal, or non-employment talent requests and distributes Time to contributors, is a 'connection call' that is unlike any SNS, card-management app, or dating/matchmaking service.
Please do not use hype or income-guarantee pitches such as 'you can make money,' 'a side hustle,' or 'passive income.' Referral rewards are single-tier and arise only when someone you directly invited becomes a VIP (500 yen per referred free member, 2,000 yen per VIP member), and Time is a reward point granted for results and contributions; it does not guarantee investment, dividends, yield, or principal, and withdrawals are something that 'may be possible under prescribed conditions,' not an unconditional cash-out guarantee. Also, do not present default-OFF (COMING SOON) features such as the 'Informant's Tavern' (/tavern) as already available; for anything not yet confirmed, honestly say it is 'planned for sequential release.' For questions or trouble, please contact info@terranoah.io.
